Gutted!

I have spent the last 2 weeks trying to get the paint looking better. Had used AG paint restorer, AG super resin, some crazy ass polish my grandad gave me from when he used to valet cars, and another layer of super resin.

I thought yesterday, hmm, it needs some wax now to finish it off. So out came the wax and the applicator and i went to work. Took about an hour or so to apply and remove. I had a quick admire and thought yep looks good!

Later that evening, when it was raining, i filled up with petrol and noticed small scratch/swirl marks all over! As soon as i got in i checked the wax and the applicator, and noticed the applicator had some small bits of grit stuck in it!!!!

Gutted to say the least! Wish i had of checked it!!

Gutted about the scratches, just need to try and treat the more severe ones. Paint job looks F*cking ace though, so deep and wet looking. Top Marks :y:

I will try to get some pics of the little scratches. The roof is covered!!! But im pleased with the result so far!!

Looks like showroom paint...some hard work gone into that...

If the scratches are fuct Look in the yellow pages for a local chips away van man or something similar. They will get rid of a few scratches / chips for dirt cheap....

My dad had his bonnet re-done as it got nailed with stones and had some nasty gouges, £90 for the lot!!!!!!!!
