just wondering what exhaust clamp you guys use to joint your backbox to your centre section? i have a two piece one with two bolts and nuts but i never seem to be able to get a good seal.. it always seems to blow..

Use that and before you join the two, put a sealent in there too, a proper exhaust sealent. :)

You need to use exhaust putty/sealant on it aswell! apply the sealant to the end of the backbox... push it into the flange... then use the clamp around the join... most garages use one of the hydraulic snap on tool things so they get a really tight fit on the clamp... but try and do it up as nice and tight..

was using alot of exhaust putty but it still seemed to always loosen the bracket, think im goin to get the joints welded together..

it may that the threads on the bolts / nuts are gone try getting a new clamp most exhaust places should have them in stock bud

need one thats like a jubilee clip with exhaust paste on the joints and some putty to seal it up fuly :y:
