if u get a de-cat exhaust do u have 2 replace this with a cat 4 it 2 pass the MOT, sound like a stupid question but im still only learning lol

yes you do need a cat to pass an mot. its only a 5 min job to change back over though.

yes, removing the cat lets unburnt fuel/hydrcarbons exit the exhaust system, the mot exhaust gas test will pick up that the levels are to high and fail it
