Got me test tomorrow, 1 quick question though me mate told me when i parralel park, i should stick it in safe and close to the car but then reverse 1 n half car lengths away from the car so its a safe distance.
Is this right, i tend to park real close when impracticing, i dont want something like that to let me down you know.

Cheers :y:

dont park too far away but dont park to close, leave it so theres enough distance for you to get out safely without possibly having to take a chance. does this help, if not just ring your instructer or ask them

I'd say about a car length mate, I did that on mine and I was fine.

just do what you do in lessons if your instructor has not said anything it will be fine. dont take a mates advice as he probly not a instructor.

I got a parralel park on my test, just leave enough room, not to close and not too far away.

i would leave about 6ft normally, just do what your instructor says.
you not having a lesson before your test?
ask the instructor then or give him and ring, find out what he says ;)

GOOD LUCK ;)

I had a parrellel on my first test, completely did it dodgy but he still gave me full marks for it. I was parked about 2-3ft from the car to the passenger door. Its easy with PAS i did it in the test with my saxo, was gutted (no pas).

I got my test on Thursday.

I was told to fo the whole manouvere within 2 and a half cars length and leave 2 cars distance between your car and the other at the finishing position.

Good luck mate :)
