i want to colour my heat shield and rocker cover, whats the best way to do so and what type of spray paint or paint to use???

well your gonna need some high temp paint for the manifold cover as it will start to go funny with the heat of it

also the person that owned the car before me put carbon look stuff on my wing mirrors and down the side of the door! what would be the best way to get it off?

if its film just peel them off and use t-cut to get the sticky glue residue off

you dont need heat proof paint for the rocker cover, just sand it, prime it, paint it and laquer as you would with a centre console etc. You dont even need to take it out the car, just take some time to mask off the seal and parts and a dust sheet for the rest of the engine bay and do it in the car
with the fanimold i did the same as above but the laquer melts abit when it gets hot, but then resets after it cools, still looks just as good as when i painted it, you could just not laquer it and it would be ok, only spray the top (visable) side

a good 4 layers of some laquer and leave to dry for a week to full harden, you dont really need high temp paint as said

Lol i waited about ten whole minutes. Not it makes funny whirly effects which pisses me off and makes me want a 4-2-1 even more

what primer paint and laquer should i use on the rocker cover?
