this might be a bit of a dumbarse question but how do you dry your cars? cause when i do it the sun seems to dry it before ive managed to even finish it and leaves dirty water marks.

Never clean it in direct sunlight mate, or thatll happen n your gonna start swearin very loud n get pissed off like i did lol. Always do it in the shade, or in the evenin when the sunlights not glaring down.
And use a waffle weave towel, about a tenner from www.polishedbliss.com

Aye, and they last liek ten seconds. And when people walk past your house n your sniffin dead cow skin and gruntin you get odd looks.

dont use a chamois or water blades
they will damge the paintwork
waffle weave towels are the best thing and you dont have to ring them out once doing the whole car :y:

shammy is alot more likely to inflict swirl marks, and halograms etc to your paint work that a well cared for waffle weave towel.
I find that if you wash the car and rinse frequently in the sunny weather then the dirty water will not dry and streak on the finish of the car.
So say wash the roof and windows then rinse them, then wash below the windows to the bump strips the rinse, then from bump strips down then rinse the whole car and dry with waffle weave towel.

if i cant help but wash the car in the sun then i try keep the car constantly wet untill its time for the waffle weave towel to dry it up.

prob not the best way but i find it works, just keep it wet by hosing the whole car down after every stage. then when finished you can dry it.
