Or for a long period off work tonsilitous! This means you cant ring your boss or speak to them for atleast a week :)

I am constantly hungry, like always eating (just to clear this up, no I am not fat. I eat anything and never put weight on woo) so my excuse is "I ate a dodgy chinese or indian last night". Works a treat and then the next day when I am at work, I get loads of TLC from all of the ladies. Get in

I think this was a reverse sickie? I had a heart attack 9 years ago (fairly minor one) but when the doc phoned my office the office asked if they brought in some paperwork & cheques could I sign them, and they asked when would I be back?
needless to say I delegated left right and centre when I got back to work, and put my feet up for the following 5 years:y:

We've been getting sent home when we turn into work, so all is good for me at the moment. My excuse the other bank holiday was that i had a dodgey burger on the BBQ night before and been up all night being sick so couldnt come, basically gave me a very long weekend off :P

Had my first sick day of 2007 yesturday.....was mint....some quality me time and rocked the xbox and caught the local pain in the ass cat rummaging through my bins...so gave him one hell of a kick.

My excuse this morning was heat stroke......im alot browner than I was friday...but they all say hangover..which is true but I need to man-up and say I dont get hangovers

Mine was i slipped on the tiles in the bathroom getting out of the bath and jarred my knee, which caused it to lock-up (We have carpet, ive had corrective knee surgery and i went out on a schoolnight bender round Leeds)

Mate you better of forged them like me! I used to forge notes all the time, was like a 1950s con man! Even forged one to say i could wear my trainers instead of school shoes (Better for footy!).

We didnt have shirts...we had nifty black polo shirts...they werent half bad...starch the collar up and your away......was untouchable in school...lol

Could list so many memorable moments in school......but I would be here all day.....basically 5 years of messing around with your mates and I was the only one out of my mates who got al least 6 GCSE's haha....common sense really

I had to wear balzer, shirt and tie but wrapped my tie round my 'ed and my blazer round my waist. And walked around with my rockports or trainers undone and shirt untucked. I was coolest mother f*cker ever. Still am.

Looking back all the guys that messed about, didnt care and genrally had a laugh have turned out better then most of the geeks.

For example. Two of the biggest geeks in my year now work in Mc D's full time, and all my mates hav really good jobs. Thing is the geeks lack person skills so are screwed.

Last time i pulled a sicky was about 2 year ago, went watching oasis at manchester city stadium,

they were phonin me up throughout the gig, the mate who i was with also worked at the same place who was on sick also lol, stupidly enough he answered the phone, well hearing cigarrettes and alcohol down the phone with the manager on the other end kind of said it all,

straight into office when i went back into work, got of with just a warning, so it was well worth it in the end
