just depends on what your after really mate, been a while since i had a good nose around whats happening in laptops (about 3 years to be exactsmileys/smiley17.gif). What do you need the laptop to do? i.e. loads of graphics big programmes etc or small word files receipts etc... basically if its the first then a reasonable processor ram and hard disc would be good but then thats always goodsmileys/smiley17.gif but would you really need a spec that could turn the earth? have a look online and see what prices you can get

be sure to get one with a good processor speed and a decent amount of ram smileys/smiley4.gif

Toshiba are Good at the mo.

If your after one that your going to use for Office based things and the internet really any laptop will do but the more money you have to spend the longer the Laptop will last you.

Also don't get anything below 256 ram,
and nothing less than 30GB of hard drive.
Don't get a Pentium Prosesor unless it stats the new laptop one not sure of the name sorry, Get a AMD anthlon one nice and quick and it don't heat up much.

yep!

when lookin for a laptop, toshiba are a good make! as artnmotion said dont go for anything less than 256mb, preferably go for 512mb ram... make sure it has a 40gb+ hard drive

if u have lots of money to spend, go for an AMD Athlon 3000+ XP or higher CPU! they will fulfill all ur needs and as artnmotion said, they work to higher temps.

if u aint got much money to spend, go for a Pentium4, or if u have less money to spend than that, Pentium Celeron as last resort smileys/happy.gif

hope has helped smileys/smiley4.gif
