I've heard that a popular mod for VTR/S is to fit 206 gti disk brakes, or gti 180 brakes...

As I only have 14" wheels on, i am pretty sure the 180 disks won't fit... so i've been looking at the standard GTI disks..

Would they fit ?

My service is due at the end of July, so i'm looking to buy the parts in the near future... i take it I just need to get some pads which will fit...

how about these ?

Yeah the 266mm disks will fit but im sure you need some sort of spacer for the carrier or caliper. Im proberly wrong though lol.

ask williamsvts as he is the guy for brakes. im not sure if you need to use spacers - there are allot of threads on this so try searching mate

you will need the caliper and carrier, disks and pads!!!

you wont require spacers,

the 206 gti ones are 266 and will fit under 14"
but if your planning on using 206 gti 180 setup which are 283 you will need 15" wheels min.

are u just upgrading discs and pads or the caliper to?

you'll be fine without spacers mate and the conversion is easy to do .

With 14's your limited to 266 but thats plenty :)

have fun mate and look in the breakers first because thats where there cheapest

hope this helps
