My Mum sewed some velcro on to the bottom of my gaiter so that it's stuck to the carpet. I cut the rubber sleeve off of my handbrake, then got a richbrook handle... I put some pipe insulation inside the handle so that it didn't just slip up and down! The gaiter will overlap the bottom of the handle!

i did something similar too, used self adhesive velcro, simply stuck it to the inside of the gaiter at the bottom of it, then velcroed it to the carpet
