adjustable shocks!!

I just recently bought a set of adjustable shocks the other day for my vtr. When they came in the post they looked totally different to what i expected!!! they dont look like whata uaual shock looks like and has no cup for the lowering spring to sit in!!! does any body else have adjustable shocks or any pics of some?? coz i think i have been fooked by this guy on e bay!!! cheers

When you buy a lowering kit you will only get springs and shocks:

which just go where your OEM shock would go. With adjustible shocks you can only adjust the hardness of the spring and reboud rate ect..

Unless you buy Hight adjustable kits (coilover ect) then you will get a new suspention leg (near enough) lol:

You havent been done over, saxo shocks are inserts taht fit inside the suspension leg, the spring cup is part of this leg
