thats well expensive for an 11 year old car with high mileage, you could pick up a 99 vts on 60,000 miles for that easily. heres what autotrader said

Dealer £2,545

Private £1,695

Part Ex £1,095

Cost New £12,475

ive got a vts though im getting the punto for £2000 but not totatlly sure that 1 should be running spot on with the work done to it and 76k with a engine build is nothing it should be good for that again really as its just been rebuilt few things i would need to deal with like the front splitter and exhaust but other than that its nice

I'm sure I seen that one crashed on the M1 yesterday on my way to Brighton.

Haha ;) Joking mate.

I offer around 1800 for it.but im sure you could find a better GT turbo for that money.

£1800 would be about right i suppose. Says 'Full engine rebuild', so as long as you get ALL the reciepts, should be OK.

Nice Punto GT, would of gone £1500 tops. Might struggle to get your money back if you have paid near £2000 for it. :panic:

looks nice and clean at least you know its had a recent rebuild

i think because of the engine rebuild that the £2000 you paid is a fair price, the interior and exterior looked in good condition, although as you said i would sort out the front splitter and that exhaust, also i would remove the rear spoiler, but thats a personal preference thing, a good way of finding out whether you will make your money back is to ask him how long its been up for sale and how much interest he had, then if he had no interest and its been for sale for a long time then you may have to ask less for it to shift it when you want to sell.
