Looking to lower the motor soon :) But im also gonna see about some new alloys :P 16"s probably so what would be the best to lower it by? and what suspension kits am i looking to buy? I want it to look nice on the alloys. Iv been looking at coilovers but cant seem to get any for saxo VTR's.

id say i nice 40 - 50mm drop mate, thats my opinion though, have a look at spax stuff

how low will 50mm look roughly? I dont want it extremely low so itl hit the speedbumps but i want it sitting on the whels on the front and back.

kit wise how much you wanna spend? you dont need coilovers ever, no need tbh

well mines down 60mm front 40 rear (to accomadate weight of install)
its on standard rims too, ann im thinking of getting some 15s maybe 16s sometime this year

Thats one amazing motor buddy! il hand it to ya,its a smert piece of kit! Thats the perfect height for lowering and thast what i want to achieve.Did it affect performance or handling once you lowered it? Will u need to change the ride height if u upgrade to 16"s?

well ive done the archs so it will take up to 17s a think, should be ok with 16s at a 60mm drop but as said my archs are done, you need to grind the bumper bracket off and bond it back on, ive took my rear arch liners out and sealed up the vent hole for boot and also the arch lips will need trimming :y:
the handling ir ok but not exactly comfy, you get used to that though

sounds like a lot of work and quite expensive! Im only 17 so im quite limited financially and also skill wise :P but i scored a new job today so the money will be available soon! :) So would lowering 50mm on 16"s be a nice set up?

might get a bit of rubbing down 50mm on 16s but will most likely to be on full lock
Im also looking into this, so is their any work involved with a 50mm drop and 16s on? ive heard that a 50mm drop without shocks can be a bumpy ride, im not quite sure wat to do maybe a 40mm drop with 16s may be a better idea?

im down 40 at the front and back and having no problems at all, if you have 16's then make sure to get the 40 profile tyres.

there polished mate :p :y:
stripped the paint off them and sanded them down and then used a polishing kit to polish up the metal :y:

you could do a wheel a day but would have to be on with it just about all day, its really tiring but its worth it in the end :y:
