As i have just had to be towed home as i have done another gearbox this one been number 7!!!!

Fed up with the car at min so i have a few options?
1. Sell the car as it is?
2. Sort the box out then sell it?
3. Sell just the engine an the put a standard engine in then sell the car?

could possibly get a fairly nice amount if you sold engine on it own and then sold the car with a standered engine in, might not be worth the hassle though

But i dont see that its the boxes or engines fault, as there are people running alot more power and torque with superchargers that dont kill so many boxes.

we all noticed at llandow you were very snappy on the throttle in the bus stop. it could be stuff like this that is stressing the box so much.

im just trying to think of why your killing so many, because your not running the power of the charged boys who occasionally kill a few.

wouldnt be mount related? im guessing your destroying gearsets/bearings/synchros rather than ripping casings?

have any of the gearsets been shot peened? as alot of people rave about that, personally im not sure. are you slamming gear changes?
