Big f*cking rock hit my windscreen

Was on the motorway today and whilst driving a rock flew into the top of my windscreen, left 2 stratchs rather than cracks. Is there anyway of getting this fixed? I know windscreen places fill cracks in but can they do anything with deep stratches?

they might be able to polish them out mate, maybe fill them then polish it up

Yeah I would imaging a good windscreen place would be able to sort it. I got a new windscreen for the gti-6 yesterday for £50 off the insurance.

Some windsreen places use like mini dremal tools with little polishing pads on, they can remove slight scratches. Mind if your well insured, with a small excess like Dan, you might as well get a new one fitted matey;)

Thanks for the help. It isnt in a place where it gets in my view, just not the best look to have on the car and it just looks crap!!
