Now im always part and partial to a nice lump of finest artery clogging butter on my nice steamy hot potato.
But why is it when ever you have one of these in a pub they always plop your toppings on then give you some of those little slabs of butter in foil packs on the side of your plate? Where am I supposed to put this? Obviously I cant get it to the potato cus of all the dam chilli and chese. It has to go directly on the potato doesnt it?

This just winds me up, and I know youll all say "you have to much time" but it bugs me.

i work in a pub kitchen and its a simple answer, really. Not everybody likes butter. also some people can have reactions to it, thats why it comes seperatly.
