Mirror help please

I need to replace my left mirror, is this easy to do??
(ive done a search and cant seem to find anything)

The other mirror snapped off and the mentle backing plate is snapped,ive got a whole new mirror and backing plate

Can som1 give me a step by step guide

1. prise the mirror trim off the inner edge of the door - where the manual mirror adjuster is
2. remove the screw that holds the adjuster knob in - inside the trim.
3. remove the door card
4. remove the three screws and remove all wires or mechanisms.
5. take off mirror and replace!!!

and make sure you hold the mirror while unscrewing it mate :p also theres no need to remove the doorcard

you have to remove the door cards to get to the bottom two screws!!

how would you remove them then? using a mini socket wrench?

oops my bad yeah need to remove the doorcards, been a while since i removed them tbh

What about replacing the back part,i would have to take the glass off to pop it out wouldnt i?

what do you mean the back part, do you need to just take off the base plate??

The base plate on the outside i think

so you just need to replace the bit with the mirror in??

all of it,the other one snapped off,and where the mirror goes onto the car theres a metel plate,the part that attches the mirror to the plate has snaped

well just use the replacement mirror to put it on, it all comes off in one piece
