Parked my VTR outside my g/f's flat overnight, went out to it this afternoon and some cocks have mashed it.

Passenger wing mirror totally smashed off, hanging by threads, BIG dent in the wheel arch, 3 smaller dents in the panel just behind the passenger door.

I've been to the police station to report it, and as expected they gave me an incident number and told they can't do nothing else.

SO - I need to replace a wing mirror and get a big dent knocked out. What mirrors should I get? Should I go for standard VTRs, as a direct replacement, or should I get something different? I dont really like M3 style, but don't know what else is available, so suggestions welcome.

Isnt anything you can do mate.

Go with your screwdriver to the scrap yard and nab yourself a mirror, they are all the same (i'd know, i've had 4 kicked off now). If its coloured just take the plastic off, tis black underneath.

Wing mirror from a scrappie or ebay. Dent would obviously be a bodyshop.

sorry til hear that mate,probably some jealous little neds(chavs) wi nothin else til do! its the same old story wi the feds tho they dont want til know when something happens and some proper police work needs doin but there always quick enough til find fault wi our cars or drivin and charge us wi it!
