Flashing AirBag Light

HI SAX-P-ers today ,my airbag light suddenly started flashing and it is now starting to p*** me off , does any1 know how to get it to be reset?

dont know why but its almost all ways seems to be the one on the passenger side?

try spraying wd40 on the connectors under the seat!

i dunno why this works but i had my airbag light flashing and srayed the pretensioners wires with wd40 and reconnected them and it stopped flashing!

or just crimp the wires rather than use the connectors as this is a common fault!

the mk1 isnt so annoying as it only flashes for a while then stays on but the mk2 flashes constantly and will piss u off lol

My Brother has a 106 gti with the same problem. he is getting it sorted soon so if nothing has helped then i will find out what it was.
