But on a serious note, that is disguisting what happened, I hope they find her and make the abductor/s die a LONG SLOW PAINFUL death.

That is all :)

i do feel bad for them BUT they as parents should have known better than to leave their children alone / in an apartment / abroad! fuck sake it pisses me off how people still play all innocent when all this shit could have been avoided in the frist place.

thanks all!
yeah to be honest the parents should take some responsability for the fact they left 2 2 year olds and a 3 year old in a room sleeping (alone) for half an hour while they have a meal!

yeah it's not something i like to think about but this long i will be surprised if she is found alive (i hope she is) then again if she is alive for this long what hell is she going fru.. maybe better if se was not alive in that case?

I done that because the Portuguese police seem to take it in their stride their way of conducting the case will lead to a bad ending.... considering they already "have a drawing of a suspect based on evidence from witnesses" and instead of releasing it to the press to try and get the person they are not releasing nothing.. same time the case is not moving forward!

Anyhow one hopes she is found alive and well.

I was watching this morning earlier and they were saying that this never usually happens in that portugal and they think they police are finding it hard to deal with, cause its a rare case to them, i hope she gets found alive and well, shes such a cute wee girl, hope nothings happened to her!

Bring back capital punishment... after chopping fingers off, then scooping the eyes out, then chopping the tounge off, the stabbinig the bastards multiple times in non-fatal areas off the body.... then hang them.

Just been watching this on the news and i pray to god that child get's found and that her parents get prosecuted and may do time in jail for leaving 3 extremely young children alone, im a parent myself and i dont even let my child play in the garden unsupervised and she is 5 coming on 6 so i cant imagine what possesed these two uncaring and selfish high flying execs to leave there children so they could go out and have something to eat and drink with there friends.

And as for the blame game the police may be doing a poor job but the parents done a poorer job keeping there child safe so lets not point the finger too much and just hope the little girl gets found

Agree entirely with that, obviously its awful whats happened and i wouldnt wish it upon anyone, but any good parents would not leave their kids alone like that.

During my work for the Police ive seen it happen plenty of times where parents have had their kids taken away from them before for leaving them home alone at such a vulnerable age and rightly so.

The childs interests of safety come first and if theyre not willing to be fully responsible for them then this is the type of things that can happen.

Just to reiterate though despite this mistakes do happen, i hope they do get her back safely and im sure a valuable lesson will be learnt by many people and not just themselves for his incident

if that ever happened to my little bro(s) or sis, i would go on a manhunt.... with a fair few people.... and the abductors wouldnt see the light of day again.
It's not right to do this to a child.... and instead of looking at prosecuting the parents, all efforts shold be concenrating on getting the girl back...
get the priorties sorted out!

I personally dont think theres much hope of her return (though i do wish that for her sake and her parents), wouldnt surprise me if her parents are proescuted for negligence.

Ok, maybe a bit of a hi-jack here..
but ive been thinkin this for ages..
how come out of all the little girls which go missin all around the world everyday, this little girl gets all the attention?
like ronaldo, beckham etc.. celebrities appealing for her to be found?..
money being contributed from various celebrities as a reward to whoever finds her?
am i the only one that thinks, its a celeb ploy to get good media attention?

fair enough the little girl has gone missing, and its very sad, and its a good deed done by people appealing to get her back..
but since ronaldo spoke up.. has anyone else thought that all the rich and famous kinda jumped on the bandwagon too, for maybe publicity more than really wanting to find this girl?

cuz like u hear of people going missing all the time, in the papers.. on the news..

wheres their chairites to help offer reward money?
wheres the celebrities when they go missing?

Because the people in the world that "matter", the middle classes etc can relate to this. They can't relate to the 200 kids that go missing in London each year.

It's because people are, basically, selfish cunts

aye and no doubt the parents are getting free flights all over the world, free 5 star hotels to stay in.. the whole works... couple of brain surgeons or whatever they are, no doubt they could afford it themselves.

i even seen an ad up in my local post office for "have u seen maddy!!!??" "keep a look out for maddy!!!"

errr, aye i'll try and keep a look out... :/

f*cking plumbs.

Dont mean to be negative atall but i dont think the girl will be coming back, i seriously doubt she is even alive at this point.

Think about it.

All the media coverage this has had, everyone know what the lass looks like so moving her around is nigh on impossible.

The whole world wants to crucify the person(s) responsible for it, so no one can afford to be blamed for it now.

If they were gonna release her it would have been done already, if they decided releaseing her is too risky for whatever reason what would your next step be?

Horrible thing to happen but there has been far too much publicity on this one for her to be returned :(

ScottyD-VTS
5th June 2007, 16:35
Sad but true dont think they will ever find her

doubledavies
5th June 2007, 16:36
Shouldnt have been left imo!

if they were a working class family they would have been rinsed by the media!

money = power as always!

hope they find her tho! but no ransoms so far doesnt fill me with hope!

5th June 2007, 16:44
Its a horrible situation, but i personally think she's never be found. Considering the amount of kids that go missing each year and are never found i can't see it happening.

I really hope they do find her though!
