right here goes when i take the saxo through the rev range when it get to about 5 it starts to make a whining noise like i have a supercharger but i dont lol.

any ideas???

no i dont have a induction kit i have the standard airfilter box with a cold air feed and i had the gear box replaced in jan with one from a car with 25,000 miles on it.

i thought it could be the induction kit but yeh, it could be the transmision system - gearbox or clutch.

ummmmm could be that the battery light is on very faintly while driving??

Ive heard the alternator does do this mate so id get it checked out, happens on one of my mates cars

sounds like alternator belt sliping mine was doing it but its stoped now
