just sold my mk2 vtr in hope to have the vts on the road yesterday only to find the insurance compnay who was o insure me! (diamond) and cause im on my mums they said everthing is fine and it will cost 1300tpft, so i thought thats bang on considering im only 19, so i rang up to confirm the and tell them bank details, only to find the circumstances have changed, so im travelling 200miles tonight to get gavs car! ahwell all well that ends well!
unlucky mate,buynig a nice car though

it seems well from the pics, shame i wont get in till 2, and up again at 7, ahwell all worth it!

shouldnt be that much on your own policey try it.
im 19 aswell with 1 years ncb and i pay 1000 tpft on a vts.

Talk 2 the manager, my mate had that happen an his mum called up an got the £800tpft quote he was offered by mistake 2 start wiv, not bad ther i think! PM

Uv been had, if you shop around most comapanies will either match or offer you a better quote, an 18 months ago ther were still loads of companies that also offered NCB 2 you as a named driver mate!!!

Everything!! And As For Insurance, Trust Ive Done Moneysupermarket.com, Confused, Wrong At Least 5, No One Will Insure A Vts!

still makes no sense to me this...you had a VTR, sell it buy a VTS, can't insure a VTS sell that and then buy another VTS *confused*

Have you tried www.elephant.co.uk should have done pass plus that would have help'd give at least a discount worth a years no claims bonus.
The advantage with elephant is they offer a 10month scheme, might not sound much but 2whole months less money will make a difference to the policy price and could be the difference between being able to afford insurance and not.
Have a look it dont take long :y:

well im 18... 1 years no claims and insured a vts for 1600 fully comp on my own policy. thats elephant..
