quick help needed... alarm wont shut up!

hi, my saxo is freaking out! i used the electric central locking device on my car keys and now the alarm wont stop! everytime i try and unlock car with keys the alarm goes off. can anyone tell me how to stop it, or where the alarm is located so i can disconnect it.

forgot to say, its a 1.4i VSX 1996.

So it's an aftermarket alarm? If so, dis-connect it via the engine bay. The sounder will be there and just... well pull the wires out of it. I'm assuming by doing that will have no effect on the immobiliser (if you have one)?
