My VTR has standard un-painted bumpers and side strips. Just wondered what was the best back to black product that people have used.

I used Car Plan original Black. That seems pretty good but wondered what other people thought.

It seems generally Meguires seems to be the way to go. After years of Autoglym being the kings they now appear to be second best!

I shall have to get some Meguires now.smileys/smiley2.gif

i just use the back to black in a tin stuff cos i have loads of it but to be honest its pretty shite, dust sticks to it it gets everywhere and the finish lasts all of ten minutes.

Going to get me some auto glym stuff as the rest of their range i use is excellent

ye, all the back to blacks seem to last 10 mins, the best way to make black trim looks good is by gettin rid of it totally smileys/smiley2.gif , colour code it smileys/smiley17.gif (or get a colour coded car like me (black) smileys/smiley4.gif )

I always use mine when i wash and it's great, the meguiars gold class trim detailer, have been using it for over a year and i still has over half a bottle. And the blackness does last. i've recently used it to bring my brother's H reg golf trim back to original colour and that was over 3 weeks ago and yes it has faded a bit, but not loads.

also have auto glym clean wheels, works ok.

auto glym intense tar remover, works a real treat.

and meguiars quick detailer, mist and wipe, never used it cos i havent waxed my car yet. but i shall.

I know i've been slagging of autogylm but their vinyl/rubber dressing is very good. Thick gel that really makes the black look good.
