Right i need to know what is the best route to go down i want a vts and i was going to convert my 1.4 westcoast in to a vts ie vts rear axel, engine and ecu, uprated suspension breaks, and what ever else needs doing.

or i can go out and buy a vts that needs a little work and keep the other saxo to drive every day i want to make a vts fit for the Nürburgring.

what would be the cheepest way to go about it??

yup just buy a vts mate its the better option. more cost effective. prefer the looks of the mk2 (not biased) but the mk1's dont look to shabby :)

Both Mk1 and Mk2 look good in for different reasons. Seen some really nice MK1s
but MK2s can look just as good. Either way get the VTS.

i am looking at spending under 2k for the saxo and the i will spend what ever getting it ready for the track/fast road.

will be doing nearly everything my self so it will cut the costs down.

As everyone else said, get a VTS much less work and less hassle.
