Hi

I have just received my 6 point OMP bolt in cage for my Saxo rally car, does anyone have any tips on installation as i would rather ask twice and cut once ;)

Thanks a lot

First off completly strip the interior of everything possible.

But is it a bolt in or weld in?

It's a bot in cage, but i obvoiusly have to weld the plates into the floor. The interior is stripped out already. Will I need to tear out all the roof lining, and also any tips on cutting the dash?

Cheers

Does it go through, or just hit the dash? May be easier to remove, and fit after if the cage follows the 'A' pillar.

As for the headlining, you may rip it putting the main hoop upright, so if your careful. :panic:

Like you said, weld on the feet plates, dry fit the cage, drill the holes, remove the cage, repaint the floor and underseal, refit the cage, refit and cut the dash, and bobs yer uncle! :y:

Thanks for that. I think getting it in there and cutting the holes in the boot floor will be a bit of a struggle to start with! :panic:

Don't the rear stays bolt to the rear arch or the floor? Never fitted an OMP in a Saxo.

Cheers for that, I think the design might have changed a bit, they bolt through the boot floor now.

Although I got a bolt in cage I think I might just weld it in now anyway as its not coming out again.

Which section did you fit first, front or back, and any tips on how much i have to cut from the dash?

Thanks
