Boot Lock and Central Locking

Is the boot supposed to lock on central locking?

Just need to know if its broken.

I press the button the two doors lock but the boot doesn't. I have to lock it with the key.

Or if it is broken any one any ideas what it could be? Cant hear any noises coming from the lock when I press the central locking button.

Sounds like the central lookin bit in the boot has gone pop. just found out on my vts it aint working so took the central loocking bit off, prob find at da scrappy or sumit hope this hopes.

All the doors are meant to lock when the button is pressed so something is wrong somewhere
