help brakes!

just put another caliper on me car and i cant get me new pads in as the piston is as far back as i can get and also cant get the handbrake cable back on the caliper
can someone help me please?
i need to know what to do

is the handbrake off when your trying to put the cable on, there is an adjuster under the exhaust heat shields, loosen it off and then try it,

for the pistons, take the cap off the breake resevoir and then try it if not then drain the brake fluid out and try that, remember to bleed them after refilling and adjust the bhandbrake :y:
