mk2 headlight misting up ??//?

my new smoked mk 2 headlights have misted up in side how do i get rid of this

take them off and run a bead of clear silicone round the edge and work it into the gaps with you finger :y:

mine steams up and i had already put silicone around them before i fitted them. It obviously aint worked, lol

any mate, just as long as its clear, make sure you dry the lights out, just put them in the house for a few days next to a radiator

if the silicone doesnt work then take them off and dry them out with a hair dryer then put them back on.

the silicone should stop the water leaking in but if there is still water inside when its sealed then as it heats up it will cause it to mist up again.

toptip: wet your finger with your tongue as this stops the silicone sticking to it.
