Well today i went halfords to get some paint mixed, got it mixed fine, very happy that i can eventually do my grill, spray my grill and put it next to my car to check the colour and the contrast is different! :panic: Is it a possibility that the tine may change once the laquar ? Can i take it back to Halfords, and if i wish to spray grill again, will it involve me taking off the old paint and primer and starting at square one?

yes mate for a good finish you will have to sand it back. i saw one of those overhaulin' programs the other day and they had the same thing happen, apparenty you need to paint the parts in the same position as they would sit on the car, ie if you paint a door flat and not vertical when you offer it up to the body it may look a different colour. it is more likely that the colour wasnt 100% as the mix things never are.

Yeh i guess. I spoke to halfords and they suggested laquering will flatten it. I guess thinking logically it will. Ill give it a shot and see how I get on! Had my last exam today so got the time to!
