Right...... im confused boys and girls. Iv got a 52 plate 1.1i desire and I have just noticed something. on my old fiesta the cat was under the car right up near the front wheels yeh.... well i was shorting out the backbox the other day and itz nowwhere to be seen ???? just a straight pipe from box to front ...but here is the thing,round where the manifold is there is sum thing that could be the cat but it seemz a strange place for it to be????? any1 knw?

i believe its part of the manifold mate but im not sure. i could be wrong

it is part of the manifold m8 its a phase 2 model and thats were they come if u want it under that car just but a phase 1 system coz the cat is underneath on that model or just buy a manifold off a phase 1 its an exact fit for the cat thats how i decatted mine

Alot of VTR owners have the same problem. With the cat in the manifold, there is only one or two people making 4branch sports manifolds WITH the cat in the manifold.

People either have to lose the cat/manifold and refit for MoT time or leave it in place and just work on the manifold back exhaust.

If you cant see it under the car its gona be in the manifold :y:
