goodridge hoses dont fit properly

Well its not a saxo but ive got a set of saxo vts front calipers on my ax gti struts and the brake lines didnt look to good so i bought a 106 gti goodridge braided brake kit but when i came to fit them the end goes all the way into the caliper and wont tighten up any more and the crush washer is still loose. ive tried both hoses and their both the same.

anyone got any ideas??

sounds like you have the wrong hoses, sounds like you have diesel hoses as they are longer, sadly you need to swap them or get an adaptor to make them fit.
