Cant wait to see this. They have changed the look of them so much though, I still prefer the old 'blocky' look from the 80s.
Was watching the original transformers movie the other night, brought back loads of memories :P

I didn't realise that Leonard Nemoy (Spok for star trek) plays the voice of Galvitron on the original movie, and Eric Idle does the voice of another Transformers.

Good thing though is Peter Cullen who played the voice of optimus in the original transformers will be doing it for the new movie :P

They do and how cool does the cg look. i've been following this since december and they're doing a good publicity set. It's so cool.
Just bought a few things from Play.com, as it's just getting me semi hard.
the preview in Empire this month is great, and as long as you're going for action not story then the whole
'big toys beating up little toys' theme will not dissapoint!

I hope they find room for the original soundtrack from the original movie to peak in somewhere even if its just in a car or in the background had a pumping 80's soundtrack for a kids movie similar to the rocky movies, looks awesome ive got the game for the pc here little dispointed as they have aimed at base system pcs so the graphics are not to hot but the game play is good

is the game worth purchasing?
the soundtrack appears to be funky
a band called Mutemath have redone the thememusic and it's quite good. Although a little kinda different. Is on the media section of transformersthmovie.com
and you can make your own transformers car here click (http://www.hasbro.com/transformers/en%5FGB/default.cfm?page=Entertainment/Game&game=348)

There's loads of stuff like that out there.
The original 'yellow one', bumblebee, was a vw beetle, and there is a reference to this in the film....if i'm right, there is a beetle parked next to the camero the boy chooses and bernie mac makes some sly remark ;)
Some cracking new toys out too, the new 'big rig' optimus prime is out £39.99 though!
Original ones are comign outta my attic for show and tell and school!
And, it's not out until the 27th in cinemas here.
