just got a quick question as i've always been curious about it

i know if you do an engine conversion you have to let the insurance company know its been a conversion

but say someone buys the car an the log book etc has been changed to a VTS (example) then would they also have to say its a conversion or just say its a VTS

If its got a vts on the log book then you wouldnt have to tell them

I wasn't aware the log book would be changed due to a conversion? Surely it'd still be a VTR but with a VTS conversion?

If you're unsure... PM Dan as he had a VTR/S.

when u do an engine conversion ur supposed to update the logbook to the new engine, u also have to insure it as a conversion unless u class it as a vts on the logbook then u can insure it as a vts.

its cheaper to run a conversion tho as u can still get cheaper tax etc.. if its classed as a 1.4, vtr etc on the log book.
just a thought ;)
