To be honest dude, xenon bulbs you find on ebay/anywhere - although they state blue - they won't be. I've had pretty much all brands you can think of, Ring Sportzblue, Phillips Blue Vision, Osram, PIAA. They're not really any better than standard - they are an improvement, but nothing too noticable. The best ones for a white/bluey light are the Ring Sportzblue 100w. They were the best bulbs for a non-yellow colour.
None of the above come close to HID though. "Xenon" bulbs make barely a difference to be honest. If you want pure white, I'd get a 6000k HID. It is WELL worth the money and can be changed when you change cars. I can get HID kits for saxo's direct from the States for £130 delivered. Not the cheap chinese ones that melt the headlight housing. I have this kit on my car and it's awesome, please see my how-to guide on installing HID. It's not as hard as you think...
h4 bi-xenon kit, 6000k (WHite), 8000k (white/blue - same as mine), 10000k (Very blue) and 12000k (Violet).
