yeh they will be 14" and will fit i would imagine aslong as you don't get the 206 GTi 180 brakes

gti 180??
thinking about it, im not even sure they are the standard 206 gti brakes..think they are uprated ones!Would that mean they wouldnt fit!? my biggest concern is getting the caliper in behind the wheel?
the GTi 180 had bigger brakes, best bet to find out of they are standard disk's a calipers, if they are then there should be no problem

even if they are uprated 206 gti, the calipers will still be the same size

how did you figure that?! If they are uprated, therefore bigger, brakes, wont the caliper most likely be bigger too to accomodate the pads?!
I dont know if its a gti 180 or not...i dont even know what the gti 180 is! All i know is they will be coming off a 2001 (i think) 206 gti..but how do i tell if its the 180 or not?or is there no way?!

i think he meant for me to fit my wheel to the 206 whilst the brakes are still on!! well, thats how i took it anyway!!
Well, i think the brakes are going to be a freebie anyway, so theres no harm in trying, eh!? Just gotta wait for the 206 to get its new brakes!!

cheers all...reps given
no problem.
because your using a standard caliper design there are also lots of pad choices about.
and lots of 206s have been bent so cheap brakes for the win
