was hoping to get it a bit cheaper than that tbh at over 18

i think iv got a really dodgy postcode becuase iv seen people pay much cheaper than that at my age :panic:

i was quoted £1511 on my own policy with my mum and dad as named drivers by admiral for fully comp (10 month bonus policy) when i was 18. that was with having passed my test for 4 months and an accident. 'twas was my cheapest quote and although it was expensive, has been worth every penny. didnt let my parents near the car :P

How many years no claims do you have? I'm 20 and got a quote for fully comp with nil no claims as mine is frozen just now, best was admiral at £800, but most other places want £2000, so having no claims bonus makes a big difference!

jesus, fully comp was £1700 odd for me, and no accidents or convictions!
argh!
edit: steve iv got no NCB but will have 1 years named experience in september - might just be quinn that recognises that tho

10 Month Policies are not worth the paper they are printed on. You will get your '1 Years no Claims' but phone some other companies and see whether they will accept it...............I can save you time--------They Wont

And if you get a quote... call up another company and play them off against eachother.
