can go any height with the torsion bar

the way you described with 40 and 60 mm is the wrongw ay of lowering the bar

read the guide at top of the page on the correct way

coilover you can adjust to 70 - 75mm

on springs theres 60mm, 40mm, 35mm might be one or two more

torsion bar should be set a bit higher than the front, standard set up is higher at the back for handling purposes :y:

it will be all messed up if the back is lower mate, not sure how much higher the back is than the front standard, mines 60 front 40 rear, the install will peobablies put it down about another 15mm so its about right tbh, handles great too, am not bothered what anybody says about being down 60 :)

I got my torsion bar taken out but it still couldnt be lowered any amount  , he said it was like either 28mm or 50mm?...

how badly will it effect handling if the back is lower then the front?

its dangerous, it causes the cars tendancy to understeer more

:panic: ... i Think im prob about 60 on the back and 45 on the front

So was it right that I couldnt get it lowered any amount? because I was told that even that I got the torsion bar taken completely out I could still only get it lowered certain amounts... by the notches?

The way you are describing is the wrong way, if you remove the torsion bars you can adjust the height to anything you want, and then replace them:y:
When anyone mentions the word "Notches" unless they are talking bedposts run!;)

aWWW DAM. lol, so how low is 2 notches?

also im guessing my standard dampers wont last long on it... any ideas how long?

anyway he did say he didnt just knock it down... he completly took out the torsion bar, but did it with the notches or something? so atleast it was done without puting too much pressure on it (am i right in pressuming this?)

Notches? The bars are offset and you can set them to virtually any height you like. If they have not lowered it properly there is a good change they have damaged it. Some places simply get a big hammer and twat the trailing arm of and then spin it round a bit and then spin it round and smack them back on. You should not lower the car like this!
