Spare Wheel Hanger Removal

Tried it today and it seems to to attached to the car. Removing it as ive stripped the back and taking spare wheel out. It seems you need the whole car up on a ramp to take it out?

yeah mate it has to swing right the way round just about so you will need it on some ramps :y:

Ermm i got hannahs off when it wasent on ramps.. i just took the zaust of the hangers. When i put it on mine i did the same process, zaust of the hangers and attach..

I just sawed the shit out of mine! Was able to slip under no problem without it
being jacked up.

You can do it one of 2 ways.

1. Jack the car up, remove bolt from right of hanger, unclip from boot and swing it down and to the left or

2. As Cloud said, same as above but swing it toward the wheel with the exhaust off

i just went at mine with a windy hacksaw it was on a ramp as well like but bolt was rusted to bits and wont come off the head just rounded

just get tire weld in your boot
