B&M Sports Shifter Installation Questions

Hi there.

Im thinking of purchasing a B&M Sports Shifter (http://www.potn.co.uk/-_c618_4518_4522_p1615009.htm) but before i do i was wondering if anyone else here has installed one of these (this one in particular) - How easy is this to install?

I intend to put this in a Mk1 Saxo VTS.

Would i need to remove the Dash to install this? (as the center console - with keypad immob is around the gearknob), or could i simple remove the leather gearknob cover and have enough space?

Any responses would be greatly apprieciated.

Not 100% sure but think you just need to remove the leather cover. You may need to get under the car and take the heatshielf off too as you need to work with the gear linkages on sum short shifters.
