help please.. lights/fuses

right.. if anyone could help that would be amazing..

basically..

Near Side lights:

Indicator works
Fog works
reverse works
Side light DOESNT work BUT
Brake light does

Offside light:

Indicator works
Fog works
Reverse works
Side light doesnt work AND
Brake light doesnt

Also..

When i turn my side lights on, the dials dont light up, and my front sides dont work..

I think it might be a fuse, but i've never done anything with the fuses before, so hae no idea how to check them or anything..

anyone know what it is?

I can help u with the fuse if thas wa u think it is.. basically the fuse box is under the glove box.. Unclip that. Get ur manual, and there should be a table ov the fuses and which fuse controls what. Make sure ignition isn't on before you replace any fuse. There should be a peg sorta thing on one ov the fuses, pull it off.. Bear in mind the fuse will prob come off with it.. If it does then just slide the fuse outta the peg and put it bk where it came from.

So.. when u've found the correct loction of the fuse your lwking 4.. pull it out with the peg.. if the metal bar in the middle is broken then voila the fuse is gone.. Simply replace wiv a new fuse.. preferbly with the same fuse number e.g. 5, 10, 15 etc. Once dne.. then try ur lights.. If it's not the fuse then sorry im no use..

Just trying 2 make myself useful around ere lol

defo sounds like a fuse mate your brake problem is just probably a rear bulb gone

but give it a try it might let you.....go to the top right of the page and under the ad banner it says "profile" click on that and it will bring you into your own settings on the left under settings and options you will see "edit avatar" click on that and you will have a choice of a few ready made one's or upload your own click save and done!! :y:

cheers all of you lot.. i've sorted it.. 2 fuses had blown, 12 and 13.

Brake / Sidelight bulbs on the rear are hopeless double filament bulbs, could just be the bulbs there, sometimes one filament goes.

The brake light works with the lights off, but not with the lights on etc etc...
Replaced 2 in mine on the same side within about 6 weeks!
