hi to all out there... ive been hearing that when your changing/uprating front dampers some people put oil inside the front strut before inserting new damper!!! whats the reason for this? and if correct thing to do how much oil do poeple use and also what type of oil? please advise!!! :panic: :panic: many thanks...

It does a few things but the primary one is it stops the damper body and leg from corroding. Its advisable to add the oil and all good workshops will do this.
