Polished....
Don't want to use some crappy Halfords look a like spray :(

there is a guide somewhere, you need to put paint stripper on the wheels, get all the paint off with a wire brush on a drill then work your way down the sand paper grades from the ruffest to the finest. you then need to put some metal polish on there and buff like mad

What happens with chips etc. ? If you have had an edge filled....this will show up yes? really the wheel needs to be pretty good or excellent condition from the start.....as these marks will not show up when painting/powder coating

yeah the wheels need to be in good condition, maybe be able to get them filled with metal???

Done...but doubt it will make much difference as the base would need to be pretty dam good.
Black MK2 VTR - should I go.....
Std colour - anyone know the paint code?
Polished - LOT of work

put a pic of you car up, standard colour just do them silver, polished is rare so could be good, look at predator_vtr thread as he has ploished his vtr wheel, anthrite is common and looks good

Don't have any pics at present mate.
Polished - I think is MAJOR work!! so Iwill do a poll....silver or anthracite :)
Do you know the exact paint code for silver? or a decent athracite one?

halford will have the paint yoy need but as for the standard wheel just get a silver will look good

to get them like that i spent a whole weekend on each of my wheels, putting in about 5 hours each day, so i stripped them on the friday, sanded on the saturday and polished up on the sunday :p
be prepared for a lot of work and soar fingers :)
