Hey,
I just bought some DTM mirrors but they are in a standard glossy black finish which i would like to change to the metallic blue of my car...
any idea of what primers/paint to use and the process to do it????
Cheers

if you are going to do it your self, with cans, then -
get some grey primer, blue paint (colour code on car), clear laquer, 1200/1500 grit wet and dry paper, masking tape.
leave the cans out in the sun for a few hours to warm them up, and try to warm the mirror up a bit too.
mask of the areas you dont want spraying, then
i would sand the are down with some 1200/1500 wet and dry, then put on 3 layers of primer, leaving around an hour maybe hour and half between each layer.
Leave this to dry with the 3 layers on for 24 hours.
wet and dry paper again on the primer, but use alot of water, even some soap as to not remove the primer.
apply 3 layers of gloss metalic blue paint (get paint code from your car), again, hour to hour n half between, and leve again for 24 hours.
wet and dry once again, then 3 layers of clear laquer, again, hour to hour n half.
then leave to dry for around 5 days to a week before putting on car
Failing that, put them in the bin! As they f'king ugly!
Sorry.
