I have mk2 siler vts and would like to spray the inner part of the headlights black....has anyone done this before because when i took the lights out, the front glass parts seems to be glued on and cant be removed. or do i need a bit of brute force (and luck) to get it off.

do a search its been covered many times and there are guide on here to show you how to do it, also i see ur a newbie but next time post the question up in the right section or the mods wont be happy with ya

yes, just paint the chrome insert that comes out.

yeh follow the linked guide! i done mine not long ago sprayed the chrome insert matt black looks so much better!
