Ok my phone is up for renewal. At the moment i'm on £25 a month for 500mins and 500txts 12 month contract which I think is pretty good deal.(retention offer with o2) When renewal comes round i'm pretty sure it'll go upto £30. I dont want an 18 month contract because I like getting a new phone every year.
Whats the best 12 month contract I can get. Is there any decent new phones on the horizon worth waiting for?
you might be able to ask them for just a 12 month upgrade. the deal you get maybe slightly worse though

Was going to use the info on here to try and get another retention offer. But they can't have made any money off my this year! Got my n73 for free and never went over £25 LOL. Is that the sort of business they want to keep :)

I'm paying £25/month and got a Free K800 with 500 mins and 200 texts on O2with a 12 month contract. Play them off against each other. That's what I do every year.
Tell your current provider that someone else is doing a better deal (do some homework first) and tell them that unless they can do you a deal you will cancel with them and go elsewhere. Most of the people on the phone will do you a deal if you are nice to them so don't do in feet first, be polite but demanding!. That would be my advice

Is there any 18 monthers where you get a new phone half way though?

well as i upgraded with o2 yesterday, i think they are getting worse, my deal last year seemed so much better. Well i have to agree, new phone every 12 months is nice, and your can just sell your old one :D, i got a k810i, which has just come out really, and i got 500 txts and 100 mins (shit) for 25 quid, but they fucked up last years charging so have given me 10 quid off every month for 12 months :D so got that for 14.95 a year or summin. Id watch o2, they over charge sometimes as they did with us, and if i didnt notify them, id be none the wiser, but as i did, they basically gave me 120 quid back.

Yeah they did the same with me. Was supposed to be £25 but they always charged me £25. They had to do a rebait all in one go.
