engine knock

after car has been runin for about 5min its starts to make a knocking noise from the bottom of the engine, changed the timing belt with a full kit, changed the water pump and its still making the noise. Any ideas?

well it could be the

1.the bearing are worn
2.crank journals are worn

well a garge would probs charge you a hell off a lot as your got to strip the hole engine down mate

this is the low down of where they got to get to (for your help)

it'll be the big end bearing as there designed to wear before ya crank shaft, but if its gone really bad it could of picked up on the crank,meanin ull have to get ya crak shaft ground and bigger shells put in,so eaither way ur lookin at a canny bit money
