My girlfriend has gt a vtr n she jus bouught some 17" rims ! wondering wots the best hieght to lower it and What happens with the trosion bar ?? How low is 1 click and so on............ Help me please lol!!!!!:panic:

dont fiddle with the torsion bar unless you know what your doing!

its not an exact science + you will need to alter the arches if you want to lower it on 17's

imo keep it on standard rims other wise its going to handdle like a trolley and you speedo is going to be out

on 17's? it depends how much work you want to do? you would probably want to go down around 40mm but you will need to do archwork on the rear.

There are two methods of adjusting the torsion bar, way you described is the incorrect way and will cost you more money long term in damage that you have done. The other way is the correct way. Again, you can search for this easily.

on 17s not much, go for a smaller wheel tell her, you have to go for at least a 50mm drop on 17s to make them look right, but your going to get a lot of rubbing, and you will need to pummel the archs a bit :p
