Citroen Sport Gearknob

I brought 1 of the citroen sport gearknobs a while back, (not sure if they still sell them at citroen). But the gearknob is to big for the gaitor to go round,

What have people done so it fits round?
Is there a new gaitor i can buy that will fit?
