Is it true that..

the more muscle you gain, then the more body fat you will lose even when sleeping?

And does eating 6 small healthy meals a day really improve metabolism?

Cheers,

Tom:)

Not really.Although it would make sense as if you are working out to build muscle then you will be burning off calories, however usually to build muscle you have to increase calorie uptake so the opposite occurs and fat can be gained.

Yes if done regularly as the body doesnt feel the need to store fat as it knows that another meal is not far off.Its more complex than that but basically yes.

it is true, having more muscle for some reason generates more heat or something even when resting so you burn more calories. still no excuse to be slack though.

yea, your muscles will however suffer most if you have a low body fat %....

Have a pint of milk before bed if your skinny and have done an intensive workout.
